A call for help: Kawartha Lakes councillor seeks action on advocacy motion

In March 2025, the City of Kawartha Lakes reported a significant increase in homelessness, with 127 households actively experiencing homelessness in the Kawartha-Haliburton region representing a 32 per cent increase over last year.
