Durham Region Paramedics Assist Kawartha Lakes With Checking In On Vulnerable Residents

The City of Kawartha Lakes Community Paramedic team checked in on 400+ people across Kawartha Lakes providing blankets, water, and info on power outages and warming stations.

Thousands of residents remain without power after a fierce ice storm rolled through the area on Saturday. The ice accumulation snapped trees, downing hydro lines across the region.
